Rhino provides you with a huge amount of 3D modelling tools. It is possible to draw any shape you can think of, due to its complexity and flexibility. Creating, editing and rendering solid surfaces, point clouds or polygon meshes are just a few things you can do with this program. It also comes with various analysis, animation and curves translation capabilities. You can use this program for just about anything that involves 3D modelling.

The software is free to try for 90 days, without any significant limitations. It takes a few minutes to download its setup package and to install its components, but the process doesn't involve any complex configurations. The program is compatible with all modern Windows versions and it doesn't have any special requirements.

By default, the main editing area, on Rhino's user interface, is split into 4 views, in which you can see your work from different angles and in a 3D environment. Of course, you can set the program to show something different in each quadrant or even switch to other view modes. Furthermore, you can change how your objects are displayed in each quadrant. You can set the program to show your work as a wire frame, as a ghosted object, rendered and in many other ways.

The software provides a huge amount of modelling tools. You can access several sets on the same tool pane, located on the left side of the window, through a series of navigation tabs. Also, each navigation tab reveals more options, on the upper part of the interface. When you select a tool or object, you can make a wide range of tweaks, with the aid of various controls, located on the right side of the window.

Rhino gives you the possibility of creating and rendering anything you can think of.

Pros

The software provides a huge amount of 3D modelling tools. It lets you activate several view windows on its interface and switch between different display modes.

Cons

You will need some time to learn the program's controls.
